In order to find the right tool for the corresponding field of application, CARL WALTER therefore offers its customers a wide range of screwdrivers. In the professional and industrial sector, screwdrivers are mostly used in continuous operation. In order to ensure the highest possible durability under this operation, CARL WALTER pays attention to the selection of high-quality materials. In the case of mechanical screwdrivers, ease of use and ergonomic design are also of paramount importance. The torques that set a screw in motion are triggered by the mere transmission of hand force to the handle. In order to make this work ergonomic, CARL WALTER focuses on the lowest possible friction on the handle of every screwdriver as well as a comfortable grip when reaching around. Depending on the screwdriving application, standard screwdrivers quickly reach their limits. In order not to have to compromise on safety or ergonomics, CARL WALTER adapts the screwdrivers to the special customer requirements. The special screwdrivers are manufactured according to the individual requirements and thus facilitate the screwdriving work on the special application area.

Challenge:
For a special screw connection, our customer requires angle screws with different leg dimensions. However, since the bolting is associated with a high level of wear, the customer asked us for an adapter to accommodate angle bolts.
Our solution:
During the design, the tight space conditions first had to be taken into account. Therefore, the drive was extended. To implement these aspects, we manufactured a receptacle with a locking pin on the adapter. This enables the attachment of drive tubes of different lengths.
Result:
The adapter has since optimized series assembly processes in the vehicle sector.

Dual compound handle screwdrivers
The 2-component screwdrivers convince with the good grip and the resulting fast turning performance. The components of the torque wrenches are composed of soft and hard zones, which are made of rubber and plastic. This allows for optimal handling and high durability.
